INSTRUCTIONS:


  1. Measure 1 cup of brown rice and rinse thoroughly than cook on stove top with 2 cups of water on medium low heat and set cooked rice aside.

  2. In a separate add 1 tablespoon of olive to pan and saute diced onions, diced red bell pepper and diced tomato drained black beans and season with salt, chili powder and black pepper.

  3. Now combine the vegetables with rice and add 2 tablespoon of your choice of salsa and chopped cilantro.

  4. Serve and Enjoy


RECIPE:

This recipe Serves about 2-3 people

INGREDIENTS
1 cup long grain brown rice 
1 Can drained black beans
1 tbsp olive oil
1 medium size onion (diced)
1 red bell pepper (diced)  
1 roma tomato (diced)
1/4 cup chopped cilantro
2 tbsp fresh or jar salsa 

Seasoning:
1/4 tsp salt or to taste
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 ground chili powder
