Quick, simple and easy hummus dip that is delicious


Hummus is so simple to make, all you basically do is combine all the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. Once you start making your own hummus dip, you will never buy store bought ever again. Their are a variety of ways you can enjoy hummus, you can eat it as dip, in your wraps or even in your salad. I know it may sound strange but it is actually really good.
All you pretty much you need to make hummus is boiled chickpeas (garbanzo beans), Tahini sauce, olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, a few spices for season and parsley. After that just throw everything in you blender and enjoy!
Tip 1 : Be very gentle with the salt. taste as you go, if you are going to enjoy your hummus as a dip with chips, you do not want it to be over salty.
Tip 2 : you can boil the chickpeas, and remove the skin to get a smoother hummus.
Tip 3 : you might need extra olive oil, so just add more if needed to get the desired texture.

Rinse and drain chickpeas, peel 1 garlic clove
Add in your rinsed and drained chick peas, 1 garlic clove, 1/3 cup Tahini sauce, 1/4 cup olive oil and blend until desired texture. Add additional oil if needed.
Transfer into a bowl add in salt, 1/4 tsp of ground chili powder and a pinch of black pepper and mix.
sprinkle paprika, chopped cilantro or parsley, and a drizzle of olive oil
Serve with chips or whatever you desired and enjoy!

INGREDIENTS:
1 15 oz can chickpeas drained and rinsed
1/3 cup Tahini sauce
1/4 cup olive oil
1 lemon (juice)
1 garlic clove
1/4 tsp ground chili powder (optional)
a pinch of black pepper to taste
salt to taste (1/2 teaspoonful or desired amount )
Garnish:
Parsley or cilantro for garnish
pinch of paprika for garnish
a drizzle of olive oil for garnish
