Quick and easy hummus topped with spicy chick peas

Hummus is so simple to make, all you basically do is combine all the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. Once you start making your own hummus dip, you will never buy store bought ever again. Their are a variety of ways you can enjoy hummus, you can eat it as dip, in your wraps or even in your salad. I know it may sound strange but it is actually really good.
All you need to make hummus is boiled chickpeas (garbanzo beans), Tahini sauce, olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, a few spices for season and parsley. After that just throw everything in you blender and enjoy!
For this Hummus dish, I used my Simple Hummus Recipe and topped it off with spicy Chickpeas that I sautéed with Olive oil and a few spices. It is so simple and easy to make and full of incredible flavors you sure will love.
Tip 1 : Be very gentle with the salt. taste as you go, if you are going to enjoy your hummus as a dip with chips, you do not want it to be over salty.
Tip 2 : you can boil the chickpeas, and remove the skin to get a smoother hummus.
Tip 3 : you might need extra olive oil, so just add more if needed to get the desired texture.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR HUMMUS:.
Rinse and drain chickpeas, peel 1 garlic clove
Add in your rinsed and drained chick peas, 1 garlic clove, 1/3 cup Tahini sauce, 1/4 cup olive oil and blend until desired texture. Add additional oil if needed.
Transfer into a bowl add in salt, 1/4 tsp of ground chili powder and a pinch of black pepper and mix.
Top it with sprinkle paprika, chopped cilantro or parsley, and a drizzle of olive oil
Serve with chips or whatever you desired and enjoy!
INSTRUCTIONS FOR SPICY CHICKPEAS:
Drain and rinse 1/2 15 oz can of chick peas
In a pan heat 1 tbsp. of olive oil and add in your chick peas and spices.
Once slightly golden brown, remove from pan and enjoy with hummus

This recipe serves about 4 people
INGREDIENTS:
1 15 oz can chickpeas drained and rinsed
1/3 cup Tahini sauce
1/4 cup olive oil
1 lemon (juice)
1 garlic clove
1/4 tsp ground chili powder (optional)
a pinch of black pepper to taste
salt to taste (1/2 teaspoonful or desired amount )
Spicy chickpeas:
1/2 can 15 oz chick peas drained
1 tbsp. olive oil
salt and pepper
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp ground chili powder
squeeze of lemon juice
Garnish:
Parsley or cilantro for garnish
pinch of paprika for garnish
a drizzle of olive oil for garnish
