Roasted Sweet Potatoes

Perfectly roasted and seasoned sweet potatoes that you will love


These roasted sweet potatoes are perfect as a side dish. They are full of flavor and everyone will love them. I love baking potatoes because they are super easy, all you do is prepare and season and let cook in the oven.


Tip 1: When baking I try to use dried herbs because they work better when baking and most of the time fresh herbs will burn and start to taste differently when baking especially on high heat.


Here's How to make it:

INSTRUCTIONS:


  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit

  2. Cut potatoes into cubes than rinse thoroughly and pat dry and transfer into a mixing bowl.

  3. Add the olive oil and garlic powder, salt, black pepper, dried parsley flakes, paprika , ground chili powder (optional) and mix.

  4. Transfer potatoes into a sheet pan and spread out into 1 layer

  5. Roast in the oven for about 25 minutes or until they are cooked thoroughly and crisp. Make sure to flip once or twice during the baking process to get them evenly brown.

  6. Remove the potatoes to a serving plate and enjoy while hot. Add additional seasoning if needed.

This recipe Serves about 4-5 people

INGREDIENTS
2 lb small red potatoes cut into half or quarters
2 tbsp cup olive oil
1 tsp salt
1/4  tsp black pepper
2 tsp dried parsley flakes
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp ground chili powder ( optional)
