INSTRUCTIONS:
Remove tofu from packaging and pat dry with paper towel. Make sure to get as much water out. Cut tofu into bite size pieces and gently fry in a medium sauce pan with about 1-2 tbsp of oil , make sure to get them golden on each side. This will help the tofu hold when you combine with the sauce .
In a mixing bowl add in your grated ginger, soy sauce, coconut milk, chili garlic sauce mix well and set aside. Once tofu is ready. Pour in your sauce mixture and let simmer on medium heat until it thickens up. If sauce seems runny, add in a little bit of corn starch and mix well and let simmer and let the sauce thicken until you get the desired consistency.
Add additional salt if needed and garnish with cilantro and green onions.
Enjoy with rice or as desired.

2 tbsp canola oil more for frying tofu
1 lb firm tofu
3 tbsp of chili garlic sauce or desired amount
3 tbsp soy sauce
2 cups of unsweetened coconut milk
salt to taste
1/2 tbsp cornstarch if needed
