
Easy delicious Almond Butter blondies. This Blondie recipe its simple to make, yet delicious. Its soft and chewy and perfectly sweet. These bars are also great as a snack or even for breakfast.
For this particular recipe I used a 8 x 8 baking pan and it made 9 medium size bars. If you are not a fan of almond butter or cannot find almond butter you can always substitute with peanut butter, or cashew butter. It is totally your preference.
Here are a few tips you need to know:
Tip 1: Melt butter on stove, or in the microwave. If you would like you can use brown butter.
Tip 2 : Always separate your dry and wet ingredients. This makes a huge difference and it is a very important step.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and line a 8 x 8 pan with parchment papper
In a mixing bowl combine all purpose flour, and salt and set aside
In a separate bowl mix in your melted butter, brown sugar, almond butter, eggs and vanilla extract, and whisk together until well incorporated.
Slowly add in the the flour mixture to the wet mixture, and combine well.
Transfer batter into lined baking pan, add roughly chopped almonds of top (optional)
Bake for about 20-25 or until batter is dry and slightly golden brown on the edges.
Cut into even squares and enjoy

1 Cup all purpose flour ( 201 gm)
1 egg
1/2 cup (1 stick) melted unsalted butter
1/2 cup almond butter
1 cup light brown sugar (201 gm)
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
about a handful of crushed almonds (optional)
