Almond Joy Inspired Granola

We love to make homemade granola, just because they are much healthier, and less expensive and they are quite simple to make. This granola recipe can be enjoyed with your smoothie bowl, as cereal, in parfaits, or just as a snack anytime of the day.

For the add in you can pretty much add your desired add ins to your granola. For this particular granola recipe, I wanted to taste like one of my favorite chocolate candy bars "Almond Joy". This granola is filled with almonds, coconut flakes, and chocolate chips. You can enjoy this granola with smoothie bowls, as cereal, in parfaits, or just as a snack anytime of the day.




Here's How to make it:


RECIPE:



INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit

  2. In a mixing bowl combine your oats, coconut oil, honey, cinnamon, salt and brown sugar

  3. Lay on baking sheet with parchment paper and bake in the oven for about 25 minutes , make sure to flip in between. Remove once golden brown

  4. Let cool down , add in your almonds, coconut flakes and chocolate chips and toss together.

  5. Store in a jar or zip-loc and enjoy.


RECIPE:

This recipe Serves about 4-6 people

INGREDIENTS
2 1/2 cup old fashioned oats
1/2 cup honey
1/2 coconut oil
1 tbsp brown sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon powder
1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup unsweetened or sweetened coconut flakes
1/4-1/2 cup almonds
