Is it taco Tuesday yet? well according to my calendar, any day is taco day . Try my shrimp tacos and I promise you wont be disappointed.

Tacos are one of my favorite dishes to make. It's so versatile and super easy and simple. Their are so many options, for instance you can have meat, seafood, or vegetarian tacos. You name it! and guess what? they all are equally delicious. You can also pretty much chose any type of tortilla, toppings and sauces to add to your tacos and it will still be absolutely amazing.

My shrimp tacos are full of incredible flavors and topped off with a spicy homemade salsa, sauteed Cole Slaw mix, and a garlic cilantro lime yogurt sauce that is incredibly delicious.
Here are a few tips you need to know:
Tip 1: You can use frozen shrimp, It works really well in most dishes, and taste good. Just make sure you thaw it properly. Follow instructions on packaging.
Tip 2 : Add a little bit of oil to your pan when you are warming the corn tortillas to give it a little crunch.

Heat pan with 1 tbsp olive oil, add shrimp and season with salt, black pepper, cumin powder, paprika, and ground chili powder and cook for about 5-8 minutes or until cooked, make sure to flip half way in between to get them evenly cooked. Once ready, transfer to bowl and set aside.
Use same pan and add about 1 tbsp of olive oil saute one bag of Cole slaw mix with salt and pepper, than set aside in a bowl.
Make your salsa, by chopping up tomatoes, onions, cilantro, jalapenos and mix with half a lime, jalapeno juice, and salt and pepper to taste .
Make your yogurt sauce by blending in your yogurt, cilantro, lime juice, garlic cloves and Serrano chili. Than add salt and pepper to taste. Set aside in a bowl
Time to assemble tacos: Heat pan and warm tortillas with a dash of oil or cooking spray. Add slaw, shrimp, salsa, than put yogurt sauce on top.
Enjoy while hot.
RECIPE:
This recipe Serves about 4 people (2 tacos each)
INGREDIENTS
For shrimp:
1 lb frozen or fresh shrimp , deveined and tail removed.
8 Corn tortillas (white, or yellow)
1 tbsp olive oil
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 black pepper
1/4 tsp cumin powder
1/2 paprika
1/2 ground chili powder
For sauce:
1/2 cup plain full fat yogurt (Greek yogurt will work)
Salt to taste
1/2 a lime
1/2 cup cilantro leaves
1/2 Serrano Chilli (optional)
2 cloves garlic
For salsa:
3-4 Roma Tomatoes
1 medium size onion
about 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 a lime
1 tbsp of jarred jalapeno juice (optional)
1/2 seeded or not seeded jalepeno (optional)
Sauteed Cabbage:
1 Bag of classic cole slaw mix
1 tbsp olive oil
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
