Incredibly chewy,and chocolatey oatmeal cookies, that's a must try .

These Oatmeal Chocolate Chip cookies are a hit. I am a huge fan of soft and chewy cookies and that is why I absolutely love these cookies.

If you are not a fan of chocolate chips in your cookie than you can simply remove the chocolate chips and add other mix ins. For example, you can add raisins, nuts or even dried cranberries. They all work so well with this recipe.
Here are a few tips you need to know:
Tip 1: Make sure your butter is at room temperature
Tip 2 : Always separate the wet and dry ingredients.
Tip 3: You don't need to use a stand mixer. You can simply use a mixing bowl and whisk it by hand.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
Combine your all purpose flour, old fashioned oats, salt, baking soda, baking powder and cinnamon and set aside.
Cream together soften butter or melted butter, white sugar until well Incorporated. Than add egg and vanilla extract and together.
Slowly add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture. After it is well combined, add in your chocolate chips.
Grease your baking trays and form into 1 1/2 inch balls. Make sure they are about 2 inches apart.
Bake in the oven for about 12-14 minutes or until they are slightly golden brown.
Remove and let cool and transfer to a wire rack or a plate.
Enjoy with a glass of milk.
