Homemade soft and chewy granola bars you will love


Easy and simple homemade soft and chewy granola bars with almonds, cranberries and raisins. These granola bars remind me of the nature made fruit and nut chewy granola bars.

INSTRUCTIONS:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
Lay oats on a sheet pan and toast in the oven for about 3-5 minutes take out and stir and put bake in the oven for about 5 more minutes or until lightly toasted
transfer oats to a mixing bowl
In a sauce pan, melt 1/4 cup cubed butter on stove on medium heat, add in your salt, brown sugar, honey and vanilla extract and stir occasionally until sugar and butter and well combined.
Remove from pan and add to your oats and combine well. Once cool add in your almonds, raisins and cranberries.
Line an 8 or 9 inch baking pan with parchment paper and pour in the mixture and press down and cover and refrigerate for about 2 hours.
Cut into about 10-12 bars and enjoy

1/3 cup honey
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 tsp salt
2 1/2 cups old fashioned oats
1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
1/4 cup unsalted chopped almonds
1/4 cup cup raisins
1/4 dried cranberries
